I Am the Wolf
As I walked into the unknown Once again to search The icy wastelands, cold and alone I once again felt the call of Paradise
Where was it, this Paradise? Why the need to seek it? Why do the humans pay such a price- The price of anothers' life?
The memories surface once again to greet me
What of the wolf-blood spilled, The Nobles that hunted the last? Their hands are stained with the blood of wolfs killed, And their howls- The howls of the wind- Cry for revenge
Why have the memories of the slain, Like bees to nectar, Found their way to me in my pain? Why not leave me to die?
The need to drive on once again, I see
My weary paws scrape on the ground Blood falls from my wound Nothing but my breath, a harsh, cold sound... But I can never stop to rest.
I am the Wolf-I must find Paradise.
