I left true friends today..
I feel sorrow crushing me,
I am at my dismay..
I only wish to be as free..

And as I did, I sobbed,
I was in pain, I cried..
I felt as though I'd been robbed,
I had only and merely sighed..

They wished me farewell,
I forced a smile and waved,
I felt like I was under a spell,
But I wasn't about to be saved..

Mourn as I might,
Cry as I may,
My friends were out of sight,
And here I lay.

In hope I will return,
That I will reunite,
I only crash and burn,
And is my own despite.

They will miss me, I know..
They will love me, this too.
I will wait til the winter snow,
I will wait until this time is true..

Then maybe I'll see them,
Reunite again,
But that is then..
When I say amen..

Amen to my friends,
They cared for a so,
I've never had fiends,
I feel so low..

And this is my farewell,
My final wish,
While I am gone in hell..
