Konan did not like to do this.
In fact, she hated to do this. But there was no way around it.
If she didn't give in, her body would whine and ache and complain at her until she did, and then it would be even worse. And really, it seemed like such a waste of time; you just get all worked up and sticky and sweaty, and in the end it normally wasn't all that good, anyways.
But how could she ignore it when she was surrounded by men?
With a resigned sigh, she began walking around, head hung in what almost looked like shame. She bumped into Hidan in the hallways and opened her mouth to ask, but then thought better of it. I mean, for God's sake (no pun intended), this was Hidan, after all. Stupid religious nut would probably never consider doing this with her.
Not Zetsu, she didn't want to be eaten… and Deidara would probably take it a little too far. Itachi was out of the question, and she really didn't feel like asking Pein. And Tobi? Well, Tobi was just… Tobi. And there was no way in hell she'd ask him. That just left… Kisame. Great. Of all people, it was the shark guy who seemed like the most logical choice.
Thinking over what she was about to do, thoughts flashed in quick succesion through Konan's mind:
I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. I really don't want to do this. I really don't want to fucking do this.
As she walked to the door of Kisame's room, Konan paused for a moment, biting her bottom lip before she gave an almost timid knock, hoping he wouldn't answer. Of course, he did. Konan whimpered.
Oh God. How pathetic did this seem? Konan realized how desperate she was if she went to the freaky fish guy, of all people. Well, as it stood, there was no way around it, so that was that. She nervously shifted her weight back and forth, trying to explain her situation to Kisame. He was courteous enough to hear her out, though he seemed slightly surprised that she'd come to him. Oh well, his gain.
"You're sure you want to do this with me, Konan?" he asked in a low voice. A pained expression came onto her face, and he realized that she had no other option. Stepping back, he gestured to his room. "You can come in if-" "No, no, not in there," she cut in, looking more pathetic by the second. "Follow me, please…" And with that, she began walking, and Kisame followed, shrugging slightly.
Of course, when they reached their destination, Kisame seemed a bit surprised. "Wha-? You want to do it outside?" Konan sighed, nodding. "Can we please just get this over with…?" The shark nin nodded, and Konan quickly shed her cloak. Kisame moved to do the same, but then they both continued to stand awkwardly for a few minutes, both of them refusing to speak before Konan finally broke the silence, eager to get it over with.
"Kisame, will you please just spar with me?!"
