The Myth of the Angels
In the time of the Olympians, there was the fair Aphrodite who was a stunning young women, she traveled thinking of romance and such. One day she came down to the humans, out of curiosity, and met a woman selling beautiful doves named Armo. She was astonished by Armo's beauty so much that when she looked into Armo's eyes and saw herself.
Now Armo was so busy with her business that she barely had time to look up to see the goddess. Yet, once she did she instantly fell to the floor in praise asking the goddess why she was gifted with the presence of the great Aphrodite.
Aphrodite responded," I am here to bless you for your beauty. You are as fabulous as I."
Armo was humbled by the compliment from someone of such high stature. She arose, thanking Aphrodite.
Soon after this, Aphrodite returned to her duties, yet was stuck on Armo's appearance. She turned around and headed directly for Mount Olympus. Zeus welcomed Aphrodite and asked, "Yes, Aphrodite?" She began complimenting Zeus, for the request she was about to propose.
"Zeus, god of the sky, please hear what I say is true. I would like to present a new goddess to Mount Olympus, not born of anyone god or goddess, but I would like to mentor a human until she is qualified to be a new goddess on Mount Olympus. Her name is Armo."
Zeus was shocked. He arose from his throne asking Aphrodite what was troubling her. Had she gone insane? She pleaded until Zeus made it so and gave her all the resources to train the mortal, Armo.
Aphrodite went back down to Armo, and snatched Armo up into the heavens. Armo was honored, by Aphrodite's gesture and agreed to the training. Aphrodite began teaching her different skills, but one day Armo was went to Aphrodite and asked one request.
"Dear Aphrodite I am lonely without my beautiful doves to keep me company during the early mornings and the late nights, may I ask you bring me one to my bed side."
Aphrodite understood her, more than Armo would explain. She was yearning for a husband. So the goddess went down and brought up two doves and a handsome, strong lad. In Armo's sleep, she morphed her and the man into angels, a being with the build of a human with the whitest wings of a dove apon he or she's back, and placed them asleep together.
When Armo awoke, she was shining with happiness and her and her new husband, Michael, thanked Aphrodite for the gift. They completed their training with Aphrodite and became the duo of Armo and Michael, the god and goddess of blessings, doves, and angels. Soon after, they also became the two newest members of the Olympians and Aphrodite was satisfied with her work.
