The sheriff, the vet and the geek also known as Jim, Dori, and Griffin Lowe and they just happen to be my family... actually the only family I got in this god forsaken world. My mom died when I was young and my dad had left us years earlier, so when my mom died I was all alone… how I like it; I went from foster home to foster home never staying too long because well because no one really stuck around too long for me to actually to care about them. Well one day I got myself into some big trouble… I went to pick up my camera film but I was a little short so I swiped it… living where I live you learn to take what you need and to not think twice about it; well maybe I should of thought twice because of what I have done I was given two choices… go to jail or move to Montana to live with my mom's cousin of course I chose Montana but the minute I got there I regretted my decision.
Griffin…. My first cousin and the biggest pain in my butt; he thinks popularity is everything and he also thinks he is popular… which is hilarious considering he is the biggest geek in High River, Montana. But the weird thing is after all that is said and done we actually do love each other, yeah I know I was freaked too but Griffin, in his own sweet way he actually looks out for me.
Jim…. He's Griffin's dad and the sheriff in High River and he has slowly become the dad I never knew. Jim is really nice to me and he is always there for me; Jim always seems to know what to say, he always has some sort of advice for me. Jim really cares, it's funny because no one has really cared about me before but he does… he has to, to put up with me.
Dori…. She's Griffin's mom and the vet, Dori is cool, a part of me knows that she has been like this second mom to me but I also know that my real mom will always be number 1 in my heart and that Dori doesn't want to take that away from me.
It's funny… I have always been running from everything in this world, I never had a reason to stay, no one to make me stay but one choice changed everything and it even changed me… but for the good. For once in my messed up life I got a family and I got friends… things couldn't be better.
