AN: Hmmmm, the fourth time I've posted today. Yup, I really am obsessed. Clace drabble, fluff, AU, AH, because why not.

As a teacher, I had to roll my eyes at the students whenever they commented that they 'shipped' me with Mr. Herondale. As a woman who was still a teenage girl on the inside, I had to squeal inwardly. Dang, they were perceptive. Yes, I'll admit it. I have a massive crush on a fellow teacher in my school.

You know how people always say math and science go hand in hand? Well, I taught AP Calculus and he taught AP Biology. So, duh, it was meant to be.

Back on the teacher side of things, though, I couldn't let my students know I wanted them to be right about us being together. I'd never be able to teach them something ever again, for all they'd do would talk about it every time they walked into class. God, they wanted it to be real more than I did.

It was Valentine's Day, and I had to sigh at the hopelessness of it all. A day that's supposed to be romantic would go by without her crush liking her. One of my students decided to bring the topic of Mr. Herondale up for like the bazillionth time.

"Ms. Fray? Do you think Mr. Herondale will finally ask you out this year." she pestered.

"No, I really don't, because as I have told you a million times, we have a purely platonic friendship, and neither of us like each other! So let's leave it at that, shall we?" I lied.

Suddenly, the faces of all my students looked awkward, and some of them were pointing behind me. Exasperated, I turned around to see none other than Mr. Herondale, or Jace. He was holding up a sign written in red ink that said 'Will you go out with me Ms. Fray? I've liked you for a while and our students seem to want us to be together!'. His face crumpled.

"Ahem, well that's that I guess... See you at lunch, Ms. Fray."

Yeah, I had just made a pretty big mistake. Not even worrying about the unattended highschoolers, I ran out of the room to find him. He sat against the wall right outside my door, looking very disappointed. Not even having to look up, he knew it was me.

"What could you possibly have to say to me Clary? You made your feelings very clear."

"No, no, no, I definitely didn't! The only reason I said that was because my students won't stop pestering me about us being together. I really really like you! And, if you still want to, I will most definitely go out with you!"

His sloppy grin came back, and he gave me a peck on the lips as an answer. I told him I'd see him at lunch, and opened to door to my classroom only to find every single student in the class presses up against it trying to listen in on our conversation. Immediately, everyone was buzzing.

"Yeah, yeah, everyone. Back to calculus." A groan rippled throughout the room, and for the rest of the conversation I couldn't help but have a smile on my face.

AN: What did you guys think? Oops, three days late for a Valentine's Day fic. Oh well, thanks for reading and I'd love some reviews with feedback!
