Aisa lagta tha jaise puri duniya intzar kar rahi thi unn aankho ka didar karne ke liye lekin Mai pehla vo khuskismat insaan tha jisse unn aankho ko niharane ka sabse pehla mauka Mila!
'Tumhari aankhe bilkul tumhari maa jaisi hai' I whispered in her ears.
Usski nanhi ungliyo ne mere haatho ko pakad liya.
Jab mene ussko pehli baar apni baaho Mai uthaya to aisa laga jaise mujhe iss jahan ki saari khusiya mil gai!
Mujhe aaj bhi vo din yaad hai jab Mai pehli baar usski maa (purvi) se mila tha vo vaha par akele baithi thi.
*Flashback starts*
Can I take your picture? - I asked her
Why? - she replied without looking at me.
Kevin - Kyunki duniya Mai jitni bhi khubsurat chize mene dekhi hai aaj tak you are the second most beautiful one.
Purvi - and what is the first one?
Kevin (without second thought)- tumhari aankhe!
Purvi - aur Mai tumhari baat kyu maanu? (she was still looking down stirring her cup of coffee)
Kevin - kyunki Mai ek photographer hu! Khubsurti ko apne camera Mai kaid karta hu. Khubsurti ke baare Mai mujhse behtar koi nahi jaan sakta.
*She looked in my direction but not at me*
Dead - purvi replied.
Kevin (surprised) - what?
Purvi (weak smile) - my eyes are dead! Mai dekh nahi sakti!
(her eyes was trying to guess My position)
I was shocked to hear this.
Purvi - tum kehte ho khubsurti ke baare Mai tumse behtar koi nahi jaanta lekin mujhe to khubsurti aur badsurti Mai farak hi nahi pata! Kya tumhe ab bhi lagta hai ki meri aankhe khubsurat hai?
I couldn't see her eyes because they were blurred with tears.
Kevin - humare profession Mai kehte hai agar picture blure hai to you are not close enough! (I reached near her) she was still trying to guess my position.
My breath directed her towards me.
'I kissed her eyes' and she got her answer
*Flashback ends*
'Operation theatre taiyar hai'! - the doctor said.
Kevin - aaya doctor!
Doctor - are you sure you want to do this Mr. Kevin?
Kevin - meri reports kya kehti hai doctor?
Doctor (in disappointment) - aapke paas jyada se jyada 4mahine hai!
(Kevin was suffering with cancer)
Kevin (smiled) - fir to Mai pura sure hu doctor!
Doctor - lekin Mr. Kevin aap fir kabhi khubsurti ko apne camera Mai kaid nahi kar payenge!
Kevin (smiled) - aapko pata hai doctor meri wife iss duniya ki dusri sabse khubsurat chiz hai aur aapko pata hai pehli khubsurat chiz kya hai? Meri beti ki aankhe jo bilkul usski maa par gai hai!
Doctor - r u sure u want to do this?
Kevin (confident) - yess doctor!
Doctor said okay.
Lying in the bed I closed my eyes. All images started to fade. Now everything was black and when I opened my eyes it seemed like millions of years had passed. I opened my eyes but…but it was still dark.
Kevin - "What is this doctor"? itna andhera kyu hai? Please lights on kijiye!
Doctor - lights on hai Mr. Kevin! Aap thik hai? I know it's not easy aapne bahut mushkil faisla liya hai.
Kevin (laughing) - tension mat lijiye doctor! Mai to Bass check kar raha tha aapne apna kaam thik se kiya hai ya nahi!
(he stopped laughing) - meri wife kaisi hai doctor?
Doctor - operation successfull raha lekin...….
Kevin (with smile) - jaanta hu doctor usse bahut saare jawab chahiye honge mujhse! Doctor please mujhe usske paas le chalo!
*The distance to her room was the longest distance I travelled*
When I reached purvi's room.
Purvi started crying looking at Me - tumne ye kyu kiya kevin? Tumne kaha tha tum majak kar rahe Ho fir kyu kiya ye?
This time she could see me but I couldn't see her. I have given my vision to my masterpiece. Her image was not on my retina but my mind was drawing a blur image of her in front of me.

I was trying to guess her position, her breath directed me towards her. "I kissed her eyes and she got her answer"
