He and Sherlock had just gotten back from solving a case and he was TIRED. He heard Sherlock stifle a yawn too and knew he was tired as well. "I am going straight to bed." John said. "Mmph" said Sherlock as he opened the door. John was just about to go to his room when he heard a loud thud and turned around to see Sherlock asleep on the floor, snoring. "Oh for Gods sake Sherlock!" He shouted, slightly annoyed. John tried to pull Sherlock up but he wouldn't move. "Mmpff leme lone." Sherlock mumbled. "When was the last time you slept Sherlock?" "Ermm 11 days ago." "Sherlock! That's almost 2 weeks of no sleep!" John yelled as he finally pulled Sherlock up. "Mmmerpf." Was Sherlock's reply.
By the time John made it to Sherlock's room, he was basically dragging Sherlock across the floor. He groaned as he plopped Sherlock down on the bed. "Ok Sherlock, I'm going to brush my teeth and change. When I come back, I expect you to have done the same". "Mmk" Was Sherlock's reply.
When John walked back in he found Sherlock asleep standing up in his pajama pants, lightly snoring. "REALLY Sherlock!" He moaned as he helped his friend into his shirt. John got Sherlock into bed and pulled the covers over him."Goodnight Sherlock." "Mppf John, wait." "What now!" "Will you stay?" "Pardon?" "Will you stay here?" "Sherlock?" John shook his head and sighed."Yeah,ok scoot over."Sherlock moved over and John slid down into the bed. "Goodnight John." "Goodnight."
When John woke up the next morning, he had a mop of messy, dark curls under his nose. He looked down to see Sherlock fast asleep in a ball next to him. He hesitated before putting his hand on Sherlock's back. "I'm NOT gay " John thought before he fell back asleep.
