Neverland
Disclamer: I do not own Peter Pan or anything mentioned in this story, though I wish I did.
Chapter 1: Meeting Peter
I hear Neverland is a very cool place. A place where Kids can be kids, and were you Never Grow Up.
My grandmother often told us of these storys, and told us, that if we were very quiet and stayed in our beds all night long, we might hear Tinkerbell outside the window. She often told us of how she would soar through the skys of Neverland, Battle Pirates, and do everything she could of ever dreamed of doing, and more. But for some reason, after telling us children how great Peter was, she would go, and lock the window shut. One night I finnaly asked her the question that would change my life Forever.
I was 13 years old and I asked after the usual story and Tuck in,
" Grandma, do you think, we could leave the window open tonight?" I had Whispered as she walked over to lock it.
" What?" She Asked almost Dumbfounded that I would ask that. " Why?"
" Its just that, I'm 13 now, and in your storys, you say that Peter stopped comming when you turned that age," I stopped midsentence. " I just want to know if hes real or not."
" Oh child," She said stroking my hair. " Hes as real as you or me, hes the one who fills your dreams with happy thoughts, and he will always be real." She began to walk away.
"But, can we still leave the window open?" I asked yawning quietly. " Just for tonight?"
She smiled. " Of course." and she went out of the door.
Hours passed as the silk curtians of the old nursery flowed with the wind comming throught the open window. I had never seen anything so beautiful in my life. I watched the window for a long time until finaly drifting off to sleep.
Peter flew in the cold nights air, above where all of them had lived. Wendy, Jane, and Moria. The three of them had grown up, and Wendy and Jane had Died as he had heard from Moria last time he had seen her. Moria had given birth to another little girl, but she knew nothing of the adventures in Neverland, for Moria had closed the Window. The Lost boys had no mother, and life in Neverland just seemed not as fun. But tonight he had a diffrent feeling other than the lonley one, he had a feeling of hope. And as the boy who never grew up flew, he came to an old farmilar House he Saw something he had not seen in over 45 years, the window of the nursery, was open. Seeing this gave him more hope than ever before, and he flew towards the window with Tink at his heels.
I woke up when I heard the sound of footsteps in the nursery. I slowly opened my eyes to see a boy no older than me, walking around the Nursery, picking up toys, and acting like he knew everything in here, as if a distant memory. My attention turned to the dollhouse where I saw a bright light, and inside it was a fairy. She was fluttering around from room to room looking at the dolls and trying to comunicate with them. I slightly lagughed at this and unfortunatly the boy heard this. I quickly shut my eyes tight while I heard the sound of a dagger comming out of its holder.
" Who's there?" The Boy asked Quickly.
I decided it must be best to show myself so I opened my eyes and sat up in the bed slowly.
" Hello Boy." I said sweetly.
" Hello." He answered back. " I am Peter Pan." He said Proudly and went into a heroic pose with both hands on his hips.
" My Name is Wendy, Wendy Jane Moria Banning."
