…Miss-no-eyebrows… Those words echoed so clearly in her mind. The nickname given to her by her lover never to be said allowed again.
Welcome home… These words will never have the same meaning, that she was welcome, never to be heard again. No matter where she went, she would never here those words again. Her home, was in his arms; her home was gone.
Why, why was the world still going? Why did people go about their lives, smiling and laughing, didn't the world end? Hers did, the day Katsuya died.
It still revolved. The world did not need anybody to keep turning, it turned on its own, never slowing, never stopping.
No matter how much she wished, no matter where she went, no matter how many times she said, "Don't leave me!" the fact was he had already left. When he had left he took more then himself, he took her heart, he took her soul, and most of all, he took her happiness. Her love had disappeared.
Happiness, joy, laughter; all of it had disappeared with him, never to be seen again, not from her.
All her life she had driven around on her motorcycle, looking for a place where she could be happy. Crying and laughing, not knowing why she did either. Now she felt like crying, crying enough tears to fill that ocean; the ocean where he took her.
Why didn't the world end that day? Why didn't it die with him? What was left? Pain? Sadness? Was there even a glimmer of happiness left? No, not for her; hers died with Katsuya.
Where did you go? Where can we meet again? Searching, always searching. Searching for what? Her lost love? Or her happiness?
Maybe I should join you. Going to find her lover, and her happiness.
The ocean, the cool breeze, unchanged after all these years. Nothing had changed, but it all felt so different now. He's not here! Where is he? Eyes darting, back and forth, looking, sure this was the one place they could meet.
Miss-no-eyebrows… There, there he is, in the water. She steps forward, wanting to get close, wanting to feel that warmth again, the warmth of pure happiness.
I know I sucked writing this one, please forgive me!!
