Incredible, Inconceivable God

I try to see you in my mind

But I cannot comprehend

My mind can't seem to understand

The Glory of your hand

I can imagine what Heaven is like

And the Angels too

But for some reason, I just can't see you

What is it about you, O God?

Why do you seem so out of reach at times?

Yet you're always there

I feel you beside me every step of the way

Are you that inconceivable?

Are you so amazing and marvelous

That I cannot possibly set my eyes on you?

It's the cry of my heart, Lord

I want to see you, God!

Take my hand, Father

Hold me in the palm of yours.

You have my heart, take it freely

Open my eyes to your Glory, Father

Help me understand the vastness of your love

Quiet my heart and let me hear your voice

Reveal your awesome presence to me, O Lord

Open the doors to your Kingdom, God!

Show me the way to Heaven

Let me play with the Angels

And hold my hand for all the days of my life.
