His wishes his pants had pockets, but they don't. He glances at the coffin. His mom is being put underground with worms. Probably spiders too. In fact, he now sees a small brown one inching towards the handle.
The minister is saying amen and Michael is grabbing at his tear covered hand. Some guy is saying what a lovely woman she was. He wants to kick his shin. Get some of his mom's dirt on the crease of his perfect pants.
He wants his mom to give him a glass of water, a tight hug.
He wants to wake up.
