Hello!! guess what fries are good but thats besides the point!! thx 4 taking the time to read this story..thx!
Nate sped down the highway.
He saw a stop light approaching switching to yellow, he pushed the pedal down, but the light changed to red. He hit the breaks.
"Damn it!" he yelled hitting the side of the steering wheel.
The light changed to green, Nate pushed the accelarator all the way down. He lifted his foot up slightly, as he turned the corner into the parking lot of a hospital. He jumped out of the car, not bothering to close the door all the way.
Nate ran into the building, up to the front desk.
"Caitlyn Gellar's room, please," said Nate.
"Relationship to patient," asked the woman grabbing a form.
"Nathan Gray, fiancée," he said.
"Room 84, recovery unit," she said pointing down a hall way.
"Recovery?" he thought, "Oh no".
"Thank you," he said to the nurse.
He ran down the hallway bumping into random people.
"82, 83, 84!" he said to himself softly.
He entered, and saw Caitlyn lying on her bed, looking out the window.
"Caitlyn," Nate said in a sad whisper.
"Nate, leave," said Caitlyn bitterly.
"I'm not leaving, not until we talk," he said shaking his head.
"Theres nothing to talk about," said Caitlyn raising her voice and taking her first glance at Nate since he entered the room.
"We need to," he said.
"I have nothing to talk about, especially with you," she said harshly.
"We have plenty to talk about," he said still with the same monotone as before.
"No we don't," yelled Caitlyn.
"Cait...please,"
"Fine, I'm listening,"
"How could you have done that,"
"Because it was part of forgetting you, Nate, you cheated on me, how could you have done that, huh?" Caitlyn said, tears stinging her eyes.
"I didn't mean to Caity, I promise I didn't, I was out with Shane and Jason, and I just had to much to drink," he explained.
Caitlyn had tears running down her eyes, as did Nate.
He took a seat in a small recliner.
Silence ensued for what seemed like hours but in reality had been only minutes.
"So," Caitlyn said, getting up letting her feet hang off the side of the bed, she began to play with the hem of her hospital gown.
"So," Nate said getting up from the recliner and taking a seat next to her.
"Nate, I'm really sorry about all those things I said back at you're house," Caitlyn said quietly.
"It's okay, it just really, really hurt that you were willing to do something drastic, just to completely move on," he began, "It cut through me like a knife, when you said you were going to get an abo-...going to get an abortion," Nate found it difficult just to say the word.
"I'm sorry," said Caitlyn as her and Nate's eyes still remained on the floor.
"So how did it go?" asked Nate.
"How did what go?" replied Caitlyn.
"The..um..you know," said Nate raising his head only slightly.
"Oh..um..I didn't have it," said Caitlyn putting her hands on her stomach.
Nate put his hand under her chin and raised her head, he kissed her ever so passionately.
He pulled away.
"Caitlyn, I love you, I made a mistake, please, give me one more chance,"
"Nate, I will, I will,"
