Ash's rise to evil: Otaku-Mengaku backstory
"Mr. Ketchum..." Officer Jenny looked a little more timid than usual. Ash sat next to a window in the back of the large library they were in. Ash looked up from the book he had been reading, and shifted around on the big pillow ,which he was sitting on, until he was looking the officer in the face. Pikachu scuttled down from the top of the bookcase that he had been sleeping on and rubbed up against Jenny's legs.
"Yes..." Ash said while smiling at Pikachu.
Jenny cleared her throat then spoke, "As you know you have formed many enemies over your trainer career." Ash's face dropped to a sigh as he nodded. "Well it seems that they have all gotten together to form Neo-Team Rocket. This time around they've gotten over the petty exploitation of Pokémon now they're into real crimes. In other words they formed a sort of mafia hoping to draw youout. So I'm here to ask you, Mr. Ketchum, are you willing to lead a new task force burdened with stopping of Neo Team Rocket?"
Ash looked away from the gaze Jenny presented him with upon asking that question and said "Can I have some time to think?"
Jenny turned around and started to walk away stopping at the doorway. She looked back "If you come to a yes meet me in the lab at six pm tomorrow if not…."Ash heard the clicks of Jenny's boots as she walked down the hallway.
Pikachu climbed into Ash's lap and looked up with a "Chu?" Ash just patted Pikachu on the head and leant back while sighing once again.
