The Perpetrator

Disclaimer: This little piece of crack does belong to me, although the characters and setting do belong to Kishimoto Masashi.

We have learned not to bother him when he's in one of those "moods." The last person who bothered him was, well, incapacitated wasn't the best word for it, but it wasn't the worst word for it either. Witnesses can say quite confidently that any cannibals within one-hundred meters had the best shish-ka-bob in many Konoha summers, although many of them are still not quite sure of what had caused the unfortunate…er…accident. He definitely did not appear to be someone liable to commit such a severe act of violence, especially at his age, but then again, dear readers, looks can certainly be deceiving, and for this enigmatic young man, he succeeded in deceiving all.

To place him in such a position is difficult; anyone but his teammates could have even thought of managing it. Even then, the most mind-boggling part of the whole ordeal was that no one, not even the perpetrator, knew what he had done in order to cause the young man in question to go into such a great rage. But then again, the perpetrator himself had been knocked out cold for several days, having been found at the scene of the crime mere hours after the incident first happened.

According to the perpetrator, who declined in giving his name, he had been keen on greeting his companion by jumping out of a nearby bush as he passed on the way to Training Arena Sixteen. This, he said, he accomplished, though a little too enthusiastically, as the perpetrator knocked over the, er, victim, we shall call him for the time being, although it soon becomes apparent that the victim has no intention of staying victimized. Regardless of this small fact, the victim was then knocked into the nearby lake off the path he was currently traveling on in order to reach Training Arena Sixteen.

Thus, the victim was soon drenched in lake water and climbed out looking none too violent at first. But as he approached the perpetrator, soon to be turned into the victim, the perpetrator could see the rage veiled thinly behind his eyes. The perpetrator, now the victim, remembers little after this moment. The rest we shall leave to our experts to guess what happened next.

"The victim, now the perpetrator," says one expert, "then proceeded to throttle the perpetrator, now the victim, who apologized before proceeding to run for his life. Unfortunately, his getaway was stopped short when he tripped over a conveniently-placed tree-root. The tree to which the root belonged was unavailable for comment."

No charges have been placed upon the perpetrator. His remaining teammate and Sensei were also unavailable for comment. "If they were available," Another expert hypothesizes, "They would no doubt sympathize with the victim of such a heinous crime."

The victim is now fully recovered and back to his task of training rigorously for the up-coming Chuunin Exam to be held in Konoha next month.

And what is the reason behind all this investigation?

Thirteen-year-old Hyuuga Neji, as we have learned, does not like getting his hair wet.

I don't know what this was. If you need to have an answer, I guess that all I can say is that it's my daily piece of stopud. I really have nothing against Neji as he is T3H AW5UM, but I faithfully follow the belief that he uses six different conditioners. I personally like to think that L'Oreal is his preference. It's Sasuke who relies on Neutrogena for that healthy glow day in and day out after three years underground, catering to Orochi-chi-chi.

Love it? Hate it? I'll never know unless you review!
