Hey~

Dear person-whom-is-reading-this,

Here is the one-shot that I promised on my Birthday (connected by fate chap.2, ending note)

Enjoy.

"Please?" Kagome begged. "Just say it once."

I should have never agreed to this. Why did I agree to saying 'I love you'? Three stupid words causing so much trouble.

"Why do you want to hear those stupid words? Words are words and they don't really mean anything!"

Kagome's eyes looked downcast.

The wench finally gave up. InuYasha thought sourly.

Kagome sighed. She didn't want to force him or use 'Osuwari' on him. But, she told him plenty of times in their happy life together that she loved him. 'I love you', 'Love ya',' I love you, InuYasha!' over and over. But he had never said those words of comfort, those words that would ease her mind and please her heart.

"I wanted to hear those words because I always say them to you." Kagome said with another sigh. She then got up from her post beside him, brushed of her miko uniform, and walked away back to the village.

"Oh come on! He does love you. He's just being a sourass." Sango assured her friend.

"Honestly, I don't even know anymore. He has been even more rude and cranky than usual to me." Kagome said with a sigh.

"Miroku the womanizer can say it to me, InuYasha can say it to you." For some reason this comparison made Kagome a little more cheerful. Kagome nodded and set out to find InuYasha.

He has to say it. I mean, how hard can it be?

"InuYasha, I think you're just being a coward." Miroku said with a wicked grin. He obviouslyhad something up that dark purple sleeve of his.

"Miroku! I'm no coward!" InuYasha yelled crossly.

I always fight these fucking battles. Now this damn human, thats supposed to be my best friend, is calling me a coward. Damn!

"InuYasha, true bravery is admiting his feelings, while a true coward doesn't." Miroku said calmly.

InuYasha growled but he knew Miroku was right.

Damn! I'm really gonna do it.

Miroku then patted InuYasha on the head and said:

"Three words InuYasha. Just three. Now, how hard can that be?"

"Not hard." InuYasha growled.

"Speaking of the defeated devil, Naraku, here Kagome comes."

Kagome stopped on the hill, staring down at the two men and Miroku got up and trotted away, winking at InuYasha and whispering :"Good luck."

"InuYasha?" Kagome asked not even attempting to hide the hope in her tone of voice.

"I know what you want."

"Well, can you say it?"

"I-I..." He started as Kagome sat next to him.

"I lo-love..."

"Go on" She said smiling.

"I love you!" He blurted out, blushing furiously.

"Too fast!" She said. "Say it again!"

"Keh!"

"Don't 'keh' me! Say it again..."

"What? No! No way!"

"Why not?"

"What makes you think I would say it to you again? You're nothing special, wench!"

That did it. thought Kagome furiously.

"InuYasha!"

"Huh?"

"Osuwari!" Kagome got up angrily and walked away but she blushed on the inside.

He said it. He finally said it.

Kagome smiled to herself.

He loves me, and now that changes everything...

Thankyou for reading my B-day one shot! Sorry it took so long. Chores and shit.
