I hope everybody enjoys this story about Mark and what happened after RENT
CH 1
Mark sat in the doctor's office; his voice was no more than a whisperer. He thought about everything that had happened since Rodger had come home and that faithful Christmas Eve when Maureen and Joanne found Mimi sleeping in the park.
"What do you mean?" he asked the tears starting to run down his cheeks and soak in to his favorite scarf
The doctor uncomfortably shifted in his seat, his eyes cast down to the floor.
"I'm sorry but it appears you have a mass that has grown on your brain." The doctor said as he lifted himself out of the chair and opened the door to the exam room
"How long?" mark asked finally looking at the man who had just signed his death warrant
"It's hard to say, but given the size I say about 6 months to a year. There is a surgery but it will most likely kill you." The doctor replied as he left the room
As mark thought about the words he yelled at Mark a year ago perhaps it's because I'm the one of us to survive.
As he thought about those words he spoke he laughed to himself and pulled his coat on.
AS he walked along the cold lonely streets of New York he thought about the cause of his death
It's hard to do this backwards you should try it in heels.
He didn't feel his head hit the cement but Joanne said that he had blacked out for at least five minutes. She never thought much of it because when he woke he smiled and said he felt great. It wasn't till after Angels Death that the headaches began and soon theseizures and memory problems began.
As he reached the steps to the apartment he could hear Rodger signing to Mimi.
Mimi had been a wreck since Benny was murdered outside the apartment one night. Mark knew that it was his father in law who had him killed. The deal with cyber land fell through and he lost millions in the deal. Benny's wife left his for an 85 year old man who owned stocks.
Collins still lived with Rodger, Mark and Mimi but after angels death he seemed to be a lesser man. He began to use again. His habit controlled his life said it made him closer to his Angel, until one day he walked in sober and even clean and said Angel had visited in his sleep and told him he had to live. He said he must live a live for Angel.
Maureen and Joanne finally had put their fighting to the side and started a family. Maureen was a perfect mother and loved her son Jonathan Angelo. Maureen had finally had gotten her big break and was staring in a huge production about people in New York living with their sins.
Mark slowly opened the door and entered. His friends sat and stared at him.
"What did the doctor say?" Mimi asked
"I'm dying." Mark replied before he slammed his bedroom door shut
