Push and Pull

A short, free-verse poem written about Katara from Zuko's point of view. That's about all I can say about this poem.

A strange attraction

And an unrequited love

Between Yin and Yang

Fire and water

Push and pull

She and I are mortal enemies

Yet her love for me is strong

And she is pure

Lovely

And so much more to me than that

Such a beautiful contrast to my fire

Destruction

And contempt

Yet hand in hand we are

And as such we shall be

Yin and Yang

Push and pull

Red and blue

Fire and Ice
