The seeker of darkness took a few moments to enjoy the feeling of a body to call his own. It wasn't 'his' but that didn't stop him from enjoying it all the same. While it still had enough resistance to keep him from eliminating the companions of the keyblade wielder, his plans were already far enough along that nothing could stop him.

The sound of footsteps running in an assortment of impractical shoes brought his attention away from his musings and to the entrance of the great hall. The other princesses had awakened and were running after the king servant's. He watched them fall back through the door. The little girl from the world without logic. The princess of the desert kingdom. The clever one with the beast who made it too her with strength of will alone. Ah yes, the "fairest one of all". And there is the one cursed by the fairy, put to sleep by her machinations twice now, he thought with a chuckle. And finally….

He stopped at the last one. And odd tug in his chest. Images came to mind, of light and a castle that seemed to glow with moonlight, of a girl that seemed to light up the night in a dress sewn from starlight. There was also a name; Cinderella.

An involuntary twitch, one that did not come from him, or the boy. Something from someone else, buried deep, deep in his heart. Deeper than he'd buried Riku. And when she turned and looked at him for a moment, a fleeting second of eye contact and quickly snuffed spark of recognition, the someone brought another memory to the surface. "Didn't you tell me it's important to stay strong."

He crushes the thought even as it emerges. Deep beneath darkness and the power of Another. And he turns away. There is still much to do. The final door still to be opened.

And deep within the darkness of his own shattered heart, Terra smiles for what feels like the first time in years.
