On the outside, Massie Block looked calm, cool and collected. But on the inside, she was just a bundle of nerves. She had decided that canceling the boyfast was best for the pretty committee, since boys were everywhere. On top of that, it was driving TPC apart. Alicia still wanted josh, but Massie said boys are out. So that left Alicia with a serious social conflict: boys or friends? Deep down inside, she would never tell Massie that, but no one needed to know. Claire still wanted cam, and it was obvious to those who paid attention that Cam still wanted Claire.
Massie looked at herself in the mirror. 'I am definitely a 10' she thought. What better way to really start off the official school year then to come back looking better then ever? Her hair was up in a messy but very cute bun, and she had on clear MAC Lipglass and a little bit of mascara on. She was going for the whole"I woke up late, decided to dress very simple, and I still look better then you" look. And somehow, she managed to pull it off. She wore a navy blue miniskirt (to show off her legs) and a black t-shirt. Silver Tiffany&Co. hoop earings, the Pretty Committee Charm Bracelet, Black and blue Marc Jacobs peep-toe pump and a navy Marc by Marc Jacobs tote bag completed the look.
She loved her bags more then anything( sorry, but I just read this ff called "Within The Zippers" by hpdrfan1 about what is in The Pretty Committee's purses and I was inspired). Massie's Marc Jacob tote held everything she needed and more: her new cell phone, the Voyager, her blue Canon Powershot 1100 IS, 3 purple Montablanc pens, 4 purple mechanical pencils, her LeSportsac makeup bag, her new 32gb Ipod touch, a white Kate Spade wallet that held 2 Visas and a discover card, receipts from numerous stores, and $500(US). In her bag, she also had 2 packs of Mint Mojito Orbit, a Claire Fontaine notebook, 2 Nutz over Luna Bars, a Sephora eyelash curler, Hard Candy lipgloss, MAC lipglass, Tangerine Altoids, the latest issue of Teen Vogue, and some pointless note from one of her teachers to her mother about how Massie constantly talked in class. Please. Texting was what she did in class.
"Massie, could you please hurry up? Isaac has been waiting forever." came her mother's voice from the intercom.
"Coming mom" Massie grabbed her North Face Fleece hoodie off her Macbook Pro and ran out the door.
As Massie was eating her Nutz over Luna Bar in the car on the way on the way to Alicia's house, she thought about how the day would go. The soccer boys were in the overflow trailers, as sparkling and shiny as ever, with the rest of the NLBRs. Mess with Massie Block and see what happens. But Massie had a very unfortunate feeling about today. She felt like the soccer boys and the Pretty Committee would be forced into overflow. And unfortunately, that was what happened.
