Not One Day Goes By…

Disclaimer: I do not own the Teen Titans but I do own Robin's poem

Chapter One:

"Robin's Poem"

Four of the five Titans sat board on the couch. "When's he coming back?" Beast Boy wined.

"I'm going to give you the same answer I gave you two minutes ago, he'll be here SOON!" Raven said angrily. Robin had been at tracking down different clues on Slade all day and he told them he needed to go alone. Cyborg and Beast Boy had played every game they had and were bored out of their minds. So Cyborg decided to go tinker with the T-car and that left Starfire and Raven alone with the impatient changeling.

"Please" Starfire spoke up. "I wish to journey into Robin's room to make sure he is not becoming the Red X again" she asked.

"Knock your self out" Raven answered in her monotone voice.

"You wish for me to render myself unconscious?" Starfire looked at the Goth.

"Never mind" mumbled. Starfire shrugged and walked down the hallway to her leader's room.

"Now What?" Beast Boy asked as the alien left.

Starfire walked slowly to his room. "I hope he will not be mad at me" she thought. "I just wish to make sure he is ok." She stepped slowly to the door and gave the scanner a light push unlocking the room. She stepped inside with caution not sure of what she would find. She fumbled around for the light switch and managed to flick the lights on. It looked the same as it had the last time she was in here. It was when Robin had gone on the quest to find the true master. Newspaper clippings covered the walls and he light above was slightly dimmed. She turned her gaze to the desk in the corner of the room. It had piles of folders and flies of pale blue.

She sat down in the wooden chair and started flipping through the pages. There was stuff on Slade, different things about the Titans, and a file on Batman. She sighed; there was nothing that would help her find out if he really was in trouble. She turned over the last file and a black folder underneath it caught her eye. It had golden letters written in cursive they read "Starfire." Curiosity got the best of her and she couldn't help herself.

"Forgive me Robin" she whispered as she opened the black folder.

Inside was what looked like a poem. The title was her name as well.

It read:

"Not one day goes by without me thinking about you

Not one night goes by without you in my dreams

Not one week goes by without me wishing to hold you in my arms

Not one month goes by without me longing to kiss your lips

Not one year goes by without you standing right beside me

And not one lifetime goes by without me whispering I love you"

"So did you like my poem?" she heard a voice from behind her asked. Starfire whipped around to find Robin leaning against the doorway. He didn't sound angry and had a smile playing on his lips.

"It was beautiful" Starfire said quietly. His smile grew and he pulled up and chair and sat down next to the one he loved.
