"Taylor Swift?" Elena observes the screen of her brother's iPod. Her eyes shine with amusement but with a little touch of gentleness in it. "And...Teardrops on my guitar? Really?" the girl snickers slightly and receives an annoyed look from Jeremy. "It's nice and very good to listen to. I like it and that's that. End of story." Jeremy states, He almost pouts. Almost. He refuses to let his sister has the advantage to make fun of him. Although he knows, she won't mean a thing she says if it can hurt his feelings. She's just that nice.
Elena chuckles.
"Anything you say, brother." and she's out of his room.
Jeremy rolls his eyes at that. Yes, laughs at what he loves. The youth shuffles his finger along his iPod, choosing the song My kind of perfect by David Archuleta as he slumps down deeper into his bed. He likes slow and sweet songs because it reminds him so much of the person - or to be specific, the man he loves.
The steady tune flowing with the smooth strings of words as it forms a feathery, dazzling songs. It's not rushed or forced to say what it needs to say. It's serene and melodious and Jeremy favors the way the music makes its way to his eardrums. Ticklish but at the same time, soothing.
Very similar to what he feels towards the man he desires and in love with. So it doesn't bother him if no one understands his taste in music. He likes what he likes.
A knock to his window snaps Jeremy from his trance. He turns around and smiles when he sees him - the love of his life. The chocolate to his milk. The air to his balloon. Jeremy hops from his bed and saunters towards the window to unlock it. He moves a bit to let him in, smiling shyly when his lover grins at him while putting his arm around Jeremy's slight thin waist, bringing him closer to his lover's broad chest.
"Miss me, love?" the man asks, nipping and kissing the boy's exposed and delicate neck. Jeremy has to grip the hem of his shirt to keep himself from whimpering like a helpless puppy. And then, his lover stops the ministrations. He looks confused before his expression replaced by a mischievous look - a sly smirk on his face.
"Are you listening to Gina - I miss you already right now?" He can hear the song booming from Jeremy's earphones.
Jeremy blushes.
His lover chortles.
"Oh love. You're such a girl."
And Jeremy's blush hardens as he throws a solid punch at his lover's upper arm.
