Author note: I own warcraft 2, and 3 so I know what I am talking about.
Warcraft 3 reign of chaos
Ch.1:Old friends
Samuel of Dalaran was walking along the dirt road to get to the recruitment camp for Lordaeron's armies. As he walked he thought about the things that had happened to him during his life. When he was 2 years old the Orcs invaded his original home of Azeroth. His family was forced across the sea to Lordaeron. His grandfather had fought the Orcs and died a hero. When he was ten Sam watched as the Orcs once again laid siege to the human lands. But with the help of the elves and dwarves the Orcs were defeated. One night Orcs attacked his town and killed his parents. Samuel fled and stumbled into Dalaran were the Orcs had him cornered. Then an old man on a horse came and fought the orcs off. He was Antonidas. He took Sam in and brought him up to be a strong man. Now that he was 20 he was to fight in the army. Sam stepped into the camp and headed over to a group of men huddled around someone. There was no mistaking that he was a Paladin. In fact he was the king's son Arthas." The Orcs are attacking nearby villages". He yelled." Those of you that are willing to save this land remain here, the rest of you, get out of my sight". All but 200 men left the camp. The men were shown to there barracks where their armor, sword, shield, and helmet lay. Sam picked up his sword and instantly loved it. The next day training began. The men practiced with wooden swords and learned how to deflect arrows with a shield. The men had a tournament. Sam was against Dan. Everyone gathered and made bets. Sam charged at Dan with sword forward, Dan parried the blow and swung at Sam's chest. Sam quickly ducked and thrust his sword into Dan's stomach, Dan stumbled back and attacked again. After two minutes of intense fighting, Sam knocked Dan down and declared victory. Sam looked in the crowd and spotted Arthas. The Paladin smiled and left the group. Then a knight riding on a horse charged into the camp."The Orcs are attacking Marglen".
