Simon woke up, taking in the nice fresh air of a new day. He looked down at his beautiful wife who was still sleeping under the covers right beside him. Her head was rested snugly on her pillow, and she looked more placid than anyone he had ever seen.

He snatched his glasses from the bedside table and slipped out of bed very gently so he wouldn't wake Jeanette. Simon really wanted to get ready right away so he could give his Valentine's Day surprises to her.

This holiday was very special to them. Simon had always gotten Jeanette something nice, and she had always done the same as well. But most importantly, they expressed their love for each other every Valentine's. And this year, they were happy to share the love.

About ten or so minutes later, Jeanette's eyes opened. She glimpsed at the devoided side next to her. There was no Simon.

He already got up, she thought. Jeanette rustled out of bed and went over to the closet. She opened the door and pulled out a few gift bags.

She settled the bags on the bed, and then went over to the bedroom door to check where Simon was. When she went over there, however, she didn't even need to look for him at all.

Simon stood in the doorway, grinning at Jeanette. He held a bouquet of lovely red roses in one hand and a red, heart-shaped box of chocolates with an envelope stuck to it in the other.

"Happy Valentine's Day, sweetheart!"

"Oh, Simon! You're so sweet!" Jeanette cried. She went up, took her presents, and leaned in to kiss him on the cheek.

"Actually, I have something for you!" Jeanette picked up one of the bags and handed it to Simon. He started looking through it. Inside, there was a book he really wanted, a card, and a package of some chocolate candies that he likes.

"Thank you, Jeanette," Simon said as he hugged her.

"You're very welcome!"

"I love you."

"I love you, too."

Simon tenderly kissed her lips. Jeanette did the same to him. And they continued doing so until they heard the sound of mini footsteps.

Two little twin three-year-old chipmunks had walked into the room. One girl and one boy. They each had shy smiles across their faces and valentine cards in their hands.

Jeanette walked over to them and bent down to pull them into a great big bear hug.

"Galileo! Olivia! Good morning, my little valentines!"

"Good morning, Mama," they replied. Jeanette let them go and they went over to huddle Simon.

"Good morning, Papa!"

"Why, hello there kids. What is that you have there?" Simon asked, pointing at the hearts they were gripping on to.

"Oh, they're valentines we had made for you," Olivia said, fixing her glasses.

Each child gave their card to the respective parent. Simon and Jeanette admired them. They were amazed at how their kids could do incredible things at such a young age.

"Thank you, my loves," Jeanette acknowledged as she gave Galileo and Olivia each a kiss on the head. Then, she went over and picked up the other gifts bags and gave them to her children.

Love was shared throughout the household. The family had each other as valentines, and nothing could ever break up that fact.

A/N: I hope you all enjoyed this little fanfic. This is just supposed to be an adorable little story for your pleasure. And trust me, I had a bunch of "aww" moments myself.

What did you all think of Galileo and Olivia? I'm planning on using them in other stories, so I'd really love to know.

I hope everybody has a nice Valentine's Day!
