The Seduction

He used to levitate bits of parchment during Charms and send them my way when no one was looking. Most of the times, they landed on my desk, but sometimes, they hit me in the back of the head. I would turn around and glare at him. Well, I thought to myself, if that Tom Riddle insists on irritating me such, then I will simply ignore him.

One day, as I was taking my robes to the laundry, I found one of them in my pocket. Huffing, I threw the robes onto the floor. With one hand, I pulled out a quill, and with the other, I held the crunched paper between two fingers. I unfolded it, ironing it against the wall, determined to write some horrible things for Tom to read the next time he tried to do this.

But something had already been scrawled where I had planned to curse him, and as I leaned in, I felt the heat rise in my cheeks. There, written and starred, were words that would make any girl's heart flutter: I have been watching you.
