chapter 1

Pumyra was in dog city as a slave in the pit. It was quite uncomfortable there. She missed Thundera where she was a medic. Then came the fall of Thundera. She was trying to aid the wounded when a lizard grabbed her. She was brought before Mum-Ra. Mum-Ra liked the looks of her and wanted her to be his lover. Pumyra refused him not wanting any part of this.

Pumyra saw Grune was there and really Panella a cursed female panther. She was going to be one of Mum-Ra's lovers too but she didn't want it either because she was in love with Panthro.

"Sell her to the rats like the other cats," Mum-Ra said when he realized she wasn't going to crack.

Pumyra was soon working in the mines of mount Plun-darr. It was hard and difficult. She was hoping Lion-o would come for them. "He's not coming so why don't you give up," the rats said. Pumyra refused to give up hope. "I know he's coming," Pumyra said. She hoped Panella was okay.

"You are very brave and hopeful cat Pumyra," an old cat said.

"Thank you," Pumyra said.

Soon she was sold to Dobo. Dobo is the pit master and he made Pumyra his fighter.

Every night Pumyra looked outside hoping Lion-o would come.

The next day Lion-o and the other Thundercats came to dog city for supplies. Then Tygra saw a poster of Pumyra.

"A cat," Lion-o said.

"She must've survived the fall of Thundera," Cheetara said.

"Now all she has to do is survive the pit," Panthro said.

Lion-o and the others went to Dobo to free Pumyra. When Dobo explained how the pit works Lion-o wouldn't accept it.

Lion-o went into the holding area. He found Pumyra.

"Lion-o I knew you would come!" Pumyra said.

"I'm sorry if I had known if there were more survivors I would have come right away," Lion-o said.

"I know I am so relieved to see you," Pumyra said.

Dobo heard their talking and arrested Lion-o.

The two cats were going to fight each other. Lion-o and Pumyra refused to fight each other. They were freed. Pumyra was now going with the Thundercats and Panella was with and now married to Panthro.

After freeing the slaves at mount Plun-Darr Lion-o started to court Pumyra. She was a little surprised but amused.

Then came fall Avista. Mum-Ra was holding Pumyra captive. She escaped and Mum-Ra attacked Lion-o. "Lion-o!" Pumyra said.

"I see you are in love with him, if you come with me I will let him live," Mum-ra said.

Dobo distracted him and Mum-Ra escaped with stone. Panthro landed Avista and everyone was alright.

Pumyra came up to Lion-O. "I love you Pumyra," Lion-o said.

"I love you too Lion-o," Pumyra said.

Then the two of them leaned in close and kissed.
