Thanksgiving
Takes place during the New Avengers timeline.
The Home of May Parker
Peter yawned as he woke up. The smell of food cooking getting his attention.
It was Thanksgiving day and as one may expect food was being cooked by both his Aunt May and his Wife Mary Jane.
He had a late patrol last night and had slept until noon.
"Hey everyone" Peter said as he walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning dear"
"Good to see ya Tiger"
"S'bout time" a third voice said
Peter paused in mid step and noticed that his kitchen had three people extra.
"What are you guys doing here?" Peter asked as he saw Captain America, Wolverine and Daredevil in civilian attire doing various tasks in the kitchen.
Steve turned from where he was helping May cook "Well, Mary Jane asked me to pick up some last minute ingredients since you had a hard patrol last night and I noticed May could use a hand"
"What about the rest of you?"
"Mary Jane apparently was having problems making that sauce recipe I gave her and asked me to come help" Matt said "Now I am the de facto taste tester"
"And you?" Peter asked Logan who sat on a chair watching the football game on a small TV in the kitchen
"Dropped something off for Stark" Logan said "Stayed for the game"
"I've also invited them to stay for dinner!" May said
"I'd be happy to" Steve said
"I aint missing this game" Logan said
"Foods good" was Matt's response "Besides I had no plans and Foggy's out of town"
Peter shrugged, it would't hurt having a few of his 'work friends' around for Thanksgiving.
Peter looked around "By the way Mary Jane have you seen my phone?"
"Oh, May had it" his wife said
"Why sould you need my phone?" he asked his elderly aunt.
"Well I needed to call Captain Rogers over-"
"Please, call me Steve"
"So I decided to call some more of your superhero friends"
Peter went pale and in a voice nearly a whisper he asked "You did what"
At that moment there was a knock on the door.
Peter opened it and their stood Tony Stark and Pepper Potts.
"Hey Peter! I brought Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin cookies, Pumpkin rolls… Okay I just went to the store and bought a lot of Pumpkin stuff"
With that the Billionaire walked right passed him into the house "Smells great!"
Peter hadn't walked far from the door when there was another knock "Coming!"
"Happy Thanksgiving!" Jessica Jones said as she held her baby with her Husband Luke Cage and his best friend Danny rand.
"Who's next?" Peter said after he let them in only for there to be another knock
Opening the door he saw Nick Fury standing there in a Hawaiian shirt
"I brought my world famous Pasta Salad" the Superspy said
