AN: yeah those season 8 spoilers make me kinda mad and season 7 wasn't best either so this is kinda what my mind does at the moment...

Summary: She's had enough of waiting...
Catherine stood in front of her locker packing all her things. She was about to take the last photos off as Warrick entered the room. He noticed what she was doing. First he noticed the smell then he saw she was smoking a cigarette. She sure had given up on smoking way before Lindsey's birth.
"What are you doing?", he asked.
"I'm leaving", Cath said as she shut her locker and grabbed her things.
"What?" was all Warrick could say, he was too stunned.
"I'm leaving the USA, taking Ecklie with me and I'm not coming back", she said as she left the room. She didn't notice the sheet of paper that slipped from her things to the ground.
"Wait, Cath!", Warrick shouted.
Catherine kept on going while laughing bitterly she said, "I waited far too long". Then she turned around the corner and was gone.
In another room at the same time Greg Sanders just looked out of the window as he saw Catherine taking the passengerseat in Ecklies car. Then they drove off. He knew something was odd but didn't know that was the last time he ever saw her again.
