As I roamed the field of tall flowers I stopped and bent over to smell a rose. I stood up and unraveled the lavender ribbon in my hair, letting the wind comb through what was my braid. I looked down at my pink satin dress and bare feet. As I looked up towards the beautiful sunset I saw something that was not there before. A tree. A large cherry blossom tree. I dashed towards the tree laughing and giggling at the wind. I saw birds that fluttered past me dropping flowers in my hair. I reached the tree and began to climb. This tree, other than its size, was not out of the ordinary. But a feeling had drawn me towards it. Nearing the top I decided to sit on a branch. I marveled at the beauty of the sun lowering into the horizon. The falling cherry blossoms almost seemed to fade into the sun. The cool breeze of a warm summer's night brushed past my skin as my hazelnut hair flowed forward… And then down. I felt the force of the wind change, forcing my neck down. I was staring down at a black hole.I started to fall towards the gaping hole, closing my eyes and screaming as my fate was decided. Then I felt lighter than air. I jolted awake and gasped. My eyes met with Wick's then Aiden's.
"You're awake." Aiden said as I suddenly became aware of my surroundings. "W-where am I? What happened…." Aiden saw the confusion on my face and explained. He told me that Wick had seen Allura, Coran, and Zathe acting… strange. "He was coming back from the library after checking out a book on Altean behavior and he saw you fighting Ivy. He broke up the fight but he saw that your eyes were turning yellow so he… brought you back to me and I fixed your wound. I assumed that the markings on your hand were from your battle but then Wick and I realized that Allura, Ivy, Coran, and Zathe had a slit on their left hand too." "Here.. Lemme see some of Ivy's blood.." I said. "Wha…" Aiden started. "Give it" I spoke with more assertiveness. He handed me a tiny vile with her blood, "Alright.. Let's figure this out."
