So I miss How to Rock. I hope you do too if you're reading this. And I miss shipping Zevie so here's something i wrote. Hope you enjoy.

Stevie POV

"Now sit down close your eyes and let me sing to my lady"

I sat down while giving Kacey a look. I did as I was told and closed my eyes. Zander started singing next to me. He sounded so good. Zander was such a great singer I've always wondered why he didn't take the role as lead singer at first.

"Hey baby I know how I get when I'm running around yea with out you oo"

The lyrics were so beautiful and catchy. I wanted the song to be for me. A guy has never written a song about me before and if one were to I was glad it was Zander. He was just so musically talented.

But I feared the song might be for kacey. After all she was the pretty one but I wasn't about to show my fear to kacey. I was a strong person. I wasn't gonna let her know I was worried the song might be for her. I had to show her that I was confident it was for me.

"Aint nobody around here quite like you oo"

This line caught my eye when I read the lyrics. Zander always said I was different than other girls. I mean it could be about me right?

"With you it's a stroll in the park cuddled up on the couch after dark"

This caught my eye also. I had slept on the couch with him lots of times during the night. In fact we almost always did because we always stayed up writing songs together. it had to be about me.

"Now let me take your hand my lady"

I stretched out my hands awkwardly. I didn't know what to do. Then I heard Kevin an Nelson laughing. Zander was holding his dogs paw. Lady? What was she doing here. Omg LADY! Of course! How did I not remember?!

"This is who the song is for?" kacey asked.

"Meet Lady"

Kevin and Nelson were laughing so hard thy walked out the room. Kacey furiously walked away.

I started laughing.

"I can't believe I forgot about lady!"

I petted his dog while he laughed.

"Sorry I read your book. I guessed I deserved to be embarrassed. To be honest I hated it though."

"No big deal and you're not gonna kill me now right?"

"Nah maybe next time" I laughed and walked out the door. As I walked out I realized I forgot my backpack so I was about to walk back in until I heard Zander talking to Lady.

"I'm glad I named you Lady. Otherwise I don't know what I would've done. If she found out I'm sure she'd kill me. Though she did think the song was about her. Maybe I shouldn't be so specific with lyrics."

I knew it wasn't a song for Lady. Boys use that excuse all the time. They say they wrote a love song for a dog but it turns out its for a girl.

"Maybe me and her aren't meant to be. It would break up the band probably. Who knows,Lady?"

Break up the band? It was either Kacey or me! but who?

"Hey, Lady. Wanna hear the real version? You do? Of course you do" Zander's relationship with his dog was just so adorable.

Zander started strumming his Ukelele and started singing.

"Hey Stevie, I know how you get when I'm running around without you ooo and Stevie please understand that there ain't nobody around here quite like you oo. We're unconditional. How we click got me walking on sunshine. Oh my baby with you its a stroll in the park cuddled up on the couch after dark. You're my lady. You're my Stevie."

I walked in slowly.

"I knew I was right"

"Stevie! What are you doing here?"

"Forgot my bag" I said as I picked it up.

"Don't worry. I won't beat you up. I loved your song. Thanks."

And just like that I walked out. If he liked me he had to make the first move. ;)
