I do not own the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It belongs to Nintendo.

Hug

by Carlson

She stops the carriage abruptly, after their pursuers leave sourly. He hops off the back of the cart and brushes himself off. He counts his arrows. He'll have to buy some more when he heads back into town. He sighs at this. He hates having to go to the bank, but a full quiver is a necessity.

"You saved the milk," she says. "Thank you."

He just smiles and shrugs it off, as he has heard this all before, unbeknownst to her. He expects a bottle of milk in return for his services. This is why he is caught off guard when she takes him in her arms. He is unaccustomed to hugs.
