~JUNE 16TH 2014~
It has been about 1 year since light was shed on the indentity of kira and yet the murders have not stopped. One after another criminals are still dieing. We cannot let this continue... I will not lose to kira.

Near looked back down at what he had just written in his journal and took a deep breath. How had kira escaped or did he even escape? Could there be a third notebook? He had so many questions popping up in his head, but none of them seemed to lead any where. It could not be possible that kira had survived and he had not seen any sign of a third notebook when kira was being investigated.
He stood up and walked to the bathroom of the hotel that he was staying at. He looked at himself in the mirror and then closed his eyes.
JUNE 17TH 2014, 8:30 a.m. - Japanese police headquarters ~
"Hey you there! Check the status on inmate 776." A strong sturdy looking man was ordering at a very small lankey man. "Sir, inmate 776, dead of a heart attack at 7:30 a.m.!" The feeble looking man covered his ears as if someone were about to blow. "DAMNIT!!! HOW IS THIS HAPPENING??? WE KILLED KIRA! I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES!!!" The man burst out with rage.
"Calm down Moji." A very small kid walked into the room. He looked to be about 15 years old and had grey hair. "Your going to give everyone a headache." The kid sat down in a chair that was near the door and said, "So I see that our test worked after all... I knew that kira would half to take the bait if we put a high - profile criminal out of secrecy."
The big man, Moji, was now calmer and said " Near, that sacrifice was unessicary we have known for quite a while that there is indeed another kira somehow. Now tell us why you had us take this prisoner out of hiding!" Moji was getting loud again. "This sacrifice was necessary to prove kiras objective... we needed to see if this kira possesses the shinigami eyes or not..." Moji gasped and looked at near like he was crazy. "I...I had never thought of that possiblility until now..yes it does seem that he was able to kill our prisoner without his name...we have not released any information on the internet or to anyone else."
Near looked down and started to fumble with something in his pocket. He took out a rubix cube and started to solve it. "Well... Moji now that you see the goals of the SDK will you join us?" Near had allready solved 2 sides of the cube. "Err...Near if we join you... will we be of anymore use to you with this kira than we were with the last? If you see my point then stop asking me about it." Moji looked at near half expecting him to say "We need the police force! We cannot do it without you!", but instead near kept trying to solve his cube.
Near was almost done with the cube and he looked up and said," Fine, the SDK is big enough again, and we do not need people who are not fully willing to cooperate." As soon as he finished talking the rubix cube was completed. Near got up and said "Good luck Moji, We will not be needing your assistance any further." He opened the door and left.
June 17th 2014, Midnight - Inside an unknown appartment building ~
There was a mysterious looking man in a black cloak. He was writing in a notebook and muttering to himself. "I will...I will pass judgement for kira...yes..yes." The man suddenly got a smirk on his face and burst out laughing "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I WILL BE THE GOD OF THE NEW WORLD ...FOR KIRA AND ALL OF HIS FOLLOWERS!!!"
