Night

As the sun sets behind silver mountains

And the moon rises over a golden plain,

The doves put their young to bed

And the owl who's his lonely call, his life waning

A waterfall falls silver over rocks,

Smooth and shiny with the erosion of time.

A tree stands alone, weeping willow

And a child sits below saying "all this is mine"

An eagle calls out in the lonely dusk

Circling the tree and waterfall below.

The moon moves across the night sky

And soon begins to set the plains aglow

As the moon sets behind golden mountains

And the sun rises above a silver plain

The owl puts himself to bed,

And the dove coos her call, her life just beginning
