It was Akimoto's birthday.
April 4th.
Also the day her family had died.

"Happy Birthday to me" Akimoto muttered to herself as she rose from her bed.
She stepped into the cold tiled bathroom. Her feet were cold but she ignored it.
Akimoto looked into the mirror and sighed, "You're starting to age Akimoto." she smirked to herself. It was funny that a 14 year old girl would say these kinds of things.
She took a quick shower and walked out of the bathroom with only a towel around her. It wasn't a school day so she didn't have to get ready for school or anything.
When she started drying her hair with another towel, her phone suddenly rang.
"Hello?" she didn't even check who called.
"Akimoto!" it was Yamamoto. "Come to my house right now! Quickly!" his voice was very exciting.
Before Akimoto can ask why, Yamamoto had hung up.
She looked at her phone and frowned. He's going to rape me, isn't he? she thought.
She pulled some clothes out of her closet and put them on quickly. She didn't even blow dry her hair.
When she stepped out of her room, she found a little box on the table in front of the TV and sofa. It was wrapped in a beautiful colored blue wrapper and a shiny yellow ribbon around it.
There was a little tag on the present that said 'Happy Birthday dear sister! Love you! -Your brother, Koutei'
That made Akimoto smile and she unwrapped the present and found a fine leather boot. It wasn't those long fancy girly boots, but those baggy ones that matched exactly to Akimoto's blue turtle neck jacket and her light grey skinny jeans.
"Might as well use it today" she smiled.
Akimoto ran towards Yamamoto's house since she took enough time.
When she got there, she was greeted by her father and the famous Takesushi sushi.
"Happy birthday Akimoto" Tsuyoshi smiled. "Takeshi's up stair's waiting for you."
"Thank you" Akimoto smiled back and went up the stair's towards Yamamoto's room.
She knocked on the door and it was opened quickly by Yamamoto. "Happy Birthday Akimoto!" he hugged her tightly. He gave her a quick kiss in her cheek and trailed down to her neck.
Akimoto laughed as she pushed Yamamoto away "Ahaha, it tickles" she smiled. "Thanks."
They shared a kiss, slow and long. When they were done, Yamamoto gave Akimoto a small box. "Open it" he said.
She opened the box and found a picture frame with a picture of her, Yamamoto, Matsuo, Gokudera, Tsuna, and Koutei. Everyone was happy.
Akimoto looked up at Yamamoto smiling brighter than ever. "Th-Thanks! I don't know what to say- this is great!"
"It's the picture we got when we went to the amusement park a while ago." Yamamoto grinned. "I saw how you had no decorations like pictures or anything at your house-" but before he could finish, Akimoto stopped him with a single kiss in the lips. She had to stand on her tippy-toes to get towards his height.
Yamamoto kissed back- and you all know what happens next.
It was a happy birthday for Akimoto.
