Hi. This is my first fanfic so cut some slack for the amateur content. R&R so I can improve. I'd be happy to have just one of these series(es?), but unfortunately, own neither.
Chapter 1
3rd Person POV
Percy and Jason walked up to the front desk in the Empire State Building. The guy there didn't even bother and pulled the key-card out as soon as he saw them. They got into the elevator and pressed the button for Olypmus. "So" Jason started "what could be so important that they'd pull us away from the front lines?" he asked with a tired and weary indifference. Percy looked at him with impatience. "Whatever it is, they'd better make it quick!" he snapped, worried about his friends left in the warzones. They walked out of the elevator and straight to the throne room without another word.
Zaraki POV
"Get over here Yachiru!" I yelled back for the hundredth time. It's hard enough to keep the Captains from destroying something important without my Lieutenant encouraging them. "What now Kenny?" the pink haired teen asked. "If you're not going to help me then just go back and guard Seireitei!" I yelled at her, wondering if I made Old Man Yama's life this hard back when he was in charge. "Ease up Boss-Man." I turned to see Sota Izunin, the new Captain of Squad 7 walking behind me say. I looked him right in the eye and sent a wave of reiatsu towards him. He smirked for some reason and fell back with the rest of the Captains. He's a wierd kid, but that's why I keep him around.
We continued to walk along the long corridor, it's marble pillars flanking us on either walked up to a pair of giant steel doors with several locks and mechanisms holding them closed. Yachiru ran to one and back to me. "Looks like a challenge" she said to me in that bubbly way of hers. She handed me a note that was apparently stuck to the doors. It read 'Break me if you can Reaper'. My eye behind the patch twiched as I pulled my zanpakuto out and made a diagonal slash, even though I was still several meters away. The force of the swing alone cut right through the doors, knocking them down. There was a bright light behind the doors. We walked on through.
Sucks, but I'll try to make the next chapter better.
