I don't own anything!
When Cat realised that Robbie was taking her again to see his grandma she was a little pissed. She thought he wanted them to have a good time together, one of the few times he didn't bring Rex. She always liked them hanging out together. It was nice and most importantly Robbie was different from the guy he was at school.
Robbie knew that Cat would be angry when he was taking her with him to his grandmother. But he really wanted to spend the rest of the day with her and he also knew that his grandma would take forever if he couldn't just use Cat as distraction. He was planning on making it up to Cat, he really would. He could buy her lots of candy and they would play baby golf and then he could buy her dinner or something. Beck told him that was something girls liked. But right now the situation did not look too bright. Maybe he wouldn't get the chance to make it up to Cat.
Cat was angry. How could this mean woman make fun of her hair, her personality and her friendship with Robbie. This was ridiculous. She should just walk out of here and never come back. Too bad, Robbie had promised her a fun evening and normally he would keep that promise. But right now she just wanted to go home. Or maybe she could call Jade and ask her to go and break something. It seemed to work for her best friend and she kinda was in the mood to break something. Or eat candy and sing loud to r'n'b music. This seemed a lot more like herself.
The fighting behind Robbie was getting louder and louder and he sensed that Cat was at a breaking point. He had to think fast and then the best conclusion came to him and he faked the end of the internet. Luckily Cat was a fast thinker and realised what he had done and that's when he took her hand and was out of this apartment. This grandma could be lucky if he ever decided to come back.
- I'm so, so, so sorry, Cat. Please forgive me! I promise we'll have fun starting now. I have some bubblegum if you want?
- Yay, bubblegum. So we're going baby golfing now? I really need fun, your grandmother was mean. She said I'm crazy and she doesn't like my hair.
- I think your hair is great.
- I know, it's so cool. Like the colour of red velvet cupcakes. My favourite cupcakes. Can we hear music? I want to sing really loud.
- Sure. whatever you want, I promised you fun, you'll be getting fun.
- Yay!
The rest of the afternoon Robbie did everything to make Cat happy but luckily it wasn't such a hard task. They both had a lot of fun and Robbie was positive that Cat had forgiven him. Now he only needed to find the courage to ask her to dinner. And then he could drive her home and maybe kiss her goodnight. No, he couldn't do that. They needed to have a first date and then he could think about kissing. His thoughts were interrupted by Cat's cell phone.
- Hi, this is Cat. What movie? I like that. Can we go eating first? Yay! Ok, yes. Oh, Robbie's with me. No. No. Ok, sure. Bye.
During the short phone conversation Robbie had realised that once again his plans hadn't worked out the way he wanted too. Instead of going to dinner just he and Cat, he would be hanging with all his friends and Cat would probably ignore him for most of the time. Not the evening he had imagined. And he was a little pissed at Beck that he hadn't stopped his girlfriend from making plans tonight. Ok, maybe another night he would have the courage to ask Cat out.
