Bernard's Suit

I've always wondered about this so I thought since Roxanne isn't retarded she must have too... hope you enjoy! ^_^
Megamind turned the holowatch and changed into the familiar crazy haired man.
"Okay Sir, are you ready?" Minion asked.
"Of course Minion! It's not a real date! Just going to dinner…" 'Bernard' slightly blushed at the idea of a date, Minion caught on to this.
"Oh, I know Sir, but it's your first "date"-like thing ever…" Suddenly, Bernard's phone went off.
"Ollo?" 'Bernard answered. Minion nudged his side.
"Sir! It's 'Hello'." Minion scolded.
"Oh… Hello?" 'Bernard answered again.
"Hey Bernard! Our date's still on, right?" Roxanne asked.
"Of course. Unless you wish otherwise…" Megamind worried of this even if it wasn't him she was looking at.
"I don't know anyone else I'd like to spend time with! I'll see you in a little bit!" 'Bernard' blushed at the thought of Roxanne enjoying his company.
"Wow Sir, you are really red! Are you feverish?" Minion worried.
"Of course not Minion! I am fine thank you very much!" 'Bernard' shot his nose up and stepped into his invisible car.
'Bernard' walked into the restaurant and found Roxanne already sitting down. He sat down to face her, she looked up and smiled.
"Hey Bernard! How are you?" Roxanne asked.
"I'm good. Hey, that dress looks really good on you!" Bernard complimented. She was wearing a Megamind-colored dress that cut off at her knees; it had a black belt that went around her stomach. She was also wearing a bluish silver necklace with a lightning bolt charm on it. Roxanne blushed and giggled.
"Heh, thank you. I just bought it."
"Well it's a good buy!" 'Bernard' chuckled. Roxanne blushed a little more.
They ate in silence, but Roxanne kept looking at 'Bernard' with a puzzled look. 'Bernard' caught on to this and felt self-conscious for whatever reason.
"What is it?" 'Bernard' asked her a little confused.
"Hmm? Oh, I was just thinking…" Roxanne kept staring with her 'look'.
"What about if I may ask?" Roxanne laughed sort of embarrassed.
"Well I was kind of wondering… why do you always wear that suit? Why not anything… leisurely?" Roxanne asked. 'Bernard's eyes went wide and he almost dropped the fork he was holding.
'Shit! Why didn't I think of that? What do I say? Agh! What do I say?' Megamind thought. He set his fork down on his plate and looked up at Roxanne.
"Well, this is sort of embarrassing but…" He started.
"But?"
"Well, you know those kids in like elementary sh- school… that used to wear the same outfit and it just turned out they have 100's of the same outfit?" Roxanne nodded vigorously and giggled.
"You were one of those kids?" Roxanne asked. 'Bernard' chuckled and nodded.
"My mother would only buy me blue t-shirts and orange hoodies with khakis as a kid… I kind of adopted it as a college kid… so this is all I have to wear…" He looked embarrassed.
"Well that's… cute. But, why orange? Why not like a black or something to go well with blue?" Roxanne asked. 'Bernard' blushed when Roxanne called him cute.
"Hmm… I dunno. Well, she was very strict with me… maybe it was her way of giving me a prison uniform?" Roxanne laughed.
"Just like Megamind and his uniform?" 'Bernard' chuckled at the irony.
"Yes, just like Megamind…"
Megamind walked into the Lair and switched off the holowatch. He walked into his living quarters to find Minion sitting on the couch watching television.
"Hello Sir! How did your "non" date go?" Minion asked.
"Very well Minion… Oh, and Minion?" Megamind looked at his fishy companion.
"Yes Sir?"
"Next time I do anything like this, remind me to make some more clothes for the hologram…"
