So, I decided to take a break on my Always fanfic, and thus, came Better Then Revenge. It is in Brambeclaw's POV about Squirrelflight, but you can persevere it with anyone you want really. I hope you enjoy and Always will be continued as soon as possible~
Better Then Revenge
I watch you from across the clearing with that malicious smile on your face. I used to know who you are, who I am, and what we were, but I fear, that I don't know so much anymore. I don't think I really knew you at all, looking back to all the things you've done to me. You used to be my best friend, my lover, but now all I want to do is nothing more than to sink my teeth into your throat and watch you whiter in pain and die.
But I'm not going to.
No.
I'm going to let you live.
Because living with what you did is better then revenge.
You screwed me over.
You broke my heart.
And you expect me to forgive you?
Water can quench fire, but the tiger will always survive.
Your fire will burn out and I will stand on top, watching you burn to ash.
Because after all, this is better then revenge.
