Rocks at Your Window
Ping. Harry stirred slightly in his sleep. PING. Hedwig hooted indignantly at the noise. Harry just groaned and turned over. PING! PING! Finally he blearily groped for his glasses and slid them over his nose. He glanced at the clock. 12:23 in the morning. Faintly he heard someone whisper shouting his name from outside. He furrowed his brows and wondered why on earth someone would come to 4 Privet Drive at this time in the night, especially someone wanting him.
He threw the blankets off and made his way sleepily to the window of his small bedroom. He didn't bother to look outside, but rather opted for opening the window first. Harry poked his head out and was met with the sight of a tall boy with white blonde hair which shone in the moonlight. Upon seeing Harry, the boy smiled.
"Draco, what are you doing here?" Harry called down softly.
"I just happened to be around here and felt like paying the great Harry Potter a visit."
"Yeah right, Draco. We both know you wouldn't come to Surrey. Plus, it's the middle of the night."
Draco shrugged. "Maybe I just felt like seeing you. It's been a while."
"It's been two weeks and I've talked to you almost every day since we left school."
"Shut up you git. Can I come up?"
"Do you promise to stop throwing rocks at my window?"
"No." Harry gave him a stern look but Draco just smiled innocently.
"I'll go unlock the back door." Harry closed the window and quietly crept down the stairs to let Draco into the house.
The two boys lay on Harry's small bed, arms around each other. They stayed up late into the morning talking softly as to not wake the Dursleys. They dozed off and on until daylight began to seep through the edges of the night. Draco slipped Harry's arm off of his torso and leaned over to kiss his forehead.
"Love you," he whispered softly.
"Love you too," Harry mumbled sleepily as Draco snuck back out of the house to return home.
