A/N: Just one something I came up with after seeing the episode. Also my first fic up for this season! WHOO! LOL. Please review…I'll probably get them at the bus stop tomorrow morning. Takes place after they shut off the water that sprayed them.

Brennan POV

Cam didn't tell him. Oh shit, why did I just do that? "You're scholarship funding ran out. You were one of the best assistants I had the pleasure of working with."

"Thank you," Wendell replied. I left soon after Hodgins came onto the platform.

It was later in the evening that my emotions from earlier caught up with me. "Bones why are you so sad all of a sudden? You were so happy a minute ago," Booth said.

"It's nothing Booth," I replied from my place on the kitchen floor.

"It doesn't look like nothing…you look really upset about something. Tell me what's going on in that big brain of yours," he said sitting up against the cabinets.

"Its not rational what I'm thinking about its not even going through my brain…I just feel it," I explained.

"So it's your heart speaking to you. What's it saying?" he questioned.

"Booth, you of all people should know that the human heart cannot speak to you…but I understood your use of personification," I replied.

"Yeah I'm ignoring the big word…so what's your heart telling you right now?"

"Cam…ever the sentimental one, didn't tell Wendell he lost his scholarship. I said that I'd miss him and had to explain what had happened."

"Ahh…continue."

"He's one of my best grad assistants…but the look of heartbreak that came across his face when I told him. God it broke my heart Booth," I said tears springing to my eyes. "And then when Cam told me about the conversation she had with him about his scholarship…she said that he and his Mom call it 'the miracle' because it's the best thing that happened to their family."

I was full on crying now. Booth pulled me into a hug and I cried into his shoulder.

"Shhh…Bones it's going to be okay," he said running his fingers through my hair.

"I had to do something Booth. I put enough money for three scholarships into that fund. The look of utmost happiness and joy came across his face when Cam told him he could stay," I said calming down.

"Did he know it was you?"

"Yes, but it wasn't direct information. I could tell Wendell was deeply touched that I gave him the money to stay at the Jeffersonian."

"You did a good thing Bones," Booth said squeezing my shoulder. "A really good thing."

"I know Booth," I replied resting my head on his shoulder. We sat in a comfortable silence for I don't know how long.

"You really need to get your pipes fixed though…I'll gladly give you the 800 dollars that you need," I said.

"You know Bones I think we can fix it…two heads are better than one," Booth replied.

I rolled to the left and got back under the sink with him.

"I think if we just do this…" Booth said and turned the water back on. It came spraying out at us.

"Booth!" I said attempting to shield myself from the water.

(Scene fades out and you hear them arguing faintly)
