A/N: This probably sucks because I saw the #lietomelives thing for the first time on Sunday night.

"You know, this would never have happened if it wasn't for you and your stupidity Cal."

"I would hardly call it being stupid."

"Well what do you call following a suspect to Mexico when it was clear from the beginning that he was clean and then finding out he actually IS clean?"

"It may have been a little far-fetched but..."

"Far-fetched you say? I call it stupidity."

"Alright, alright. It may have been a little 'stupid' of me, but we're in Mexico. On a paid for trip by a client, might I add. So we might as well have fun. What do you say darling?"

Gillian eyed him suspiciously for a few seconds before she finally sighed. "Fine. But I need to change. You coming?"

"Not now but maybe later. If you know what I mean."

Gillian tried to give him a disapproving look but she couldn't help the smile that tugged at the corner of her mouth. Gillian started walking away and Cal followed . He couldn't help himself but to stare at the sway of her hips.

(BREAK)

The two of them went for drinks before enjoying a meal at a local seaside restaurant. Gillian couldn't help but notice how normal all of this felt. These last couples of months have been tough on them as well as the company. But now it's finally looking as if things are going back to normal. Instead of taking a cab back to the hotel they decided to walk.

"I'm sorry love."

"For what?"

"For being such an ass the past couple of months."

"I would be lying if I said it didn't hurt. It did. But I'm just as much to blame."

"No you're not. It's all on me. Am I forgiven?"

"On one condition."

Cal eyed her suspiciously and nervously at the same time. He opened up. He let her read him like a book. She was shocked to see the love and adoration so openly on his face. Gillian let the love and adoration she felt for him show on her face as well. Both of them smiled as they closed the distance between each other. After minutes of exploring each others mouths and hands roaming each others bodies they broke for air. Gillian leaned her forehead against Cal's while he rubbed her lower back.

"I think we should go back to the hotel love."

"I thought you'd never speak up."

What followed was pure bliss. Years of pent up passion finally went over to action. No words were needed. Everything that needed to be said was visible on the other's face. They clung to one another in the throes of their love making.

As they lay in each other's arms afterwards contemplating why they waited so long to finally get together, some important words were spoken.

"Gillian darling. You always urge me to use my words so here goes. It may sound like a cliché but I don't know what I will do if you should leave or if something happened to you. You and Em mean the world to me. Without the two of you life has no purpose. I love you. And if you are not ready for this type of commitment I will do my level best to understand..."

"You're rambling."

"..."

Gillian started smiling before she spoke. "I love you too. You know Em is like a daughter to me and if something should happen to you, either one of you...I don't know what I'll do. And I promise I'll never leave, maybe try to kill you, but never leave. "

Cal rolled on top of her and started kissing her. First passionately on the mouth. Then along the side of her jaw to her ear. He then kissed down her neck, right down between her breasts, down until her hips and further down until Gillian gasped in pleasure.
