So, got inspired while watching the yu-gi-oh season of where they all were in egypt haha. Just random poetry drabble nonsense.

*Don't own yugioh but gosh how I wish I did :P*

"Obsidian desires cloud the minds of men that were designated to guide us all.

My dear Pharaoh, what is it that your will wishes?

My dear friend, what power do you wish to gain?

I cannot please everyone.

And keep the people in mind my dear Pharaohs.

The sands collected in these sacred glasses are turned over and made to run to the other side of the Nihilistic River.

The sands collected from the very sun-kissed land that our past rulers have danced upon too

My dear Pharaohs, why do you quarrel over such trivial things?

Oh dear Ra, they do not hear me.

My cries are useless to their golden ears

Perhaps they will hear their hearts and listen to Isis's tears

I will continue to watch and hold their hands even as the sun sets…"

The crimson eyed Pharaoh carefully glared at the cerulean eyed Pharaoh

Both sang a bitter tune of disagreement

Who should rightfully guide the pyramids?

Both approached each other in a Pharaonic manner

The jewels danced off the royal clothing and reflected itself upon the walls of the tombs and temples

The crimson Pharaoh smiled at the cerulean Pharaoh confusing him into the daze before finally returning the greeting

"who shall rightfully sit on this heavenly throne? Who shall guide our people through Osiris's world? Dear Pharaoh, Who will lead us to Ra?"

The cerulean Pharaoh's eyes met with the others and smiled a happiness.

"We shall."

"Side by side, hand in hand my precious Pharaoh. Together can we all with stand the sands. Isn't that the answer you have sought for?"

The crimson eyed king laughed as the dispute was finally clear

He pulled the other man into an embrace as the resolution was made possible

As the Pharaonic essence spilled over the sands and seeped unto pyramids...
"Oh thank Ra! Finally my dear Pharaohs…"
