Tee looked at Joe as he sat at his desk writing something. Their conversion had been going on for about an hour now. Truthfully it couldn't really be called a conversation or even a debate; it was more a case of Tee talking and Joe pretending to ignore her. The fact that he wouldn't even look at her told her he knew she was right; and he in his typical alpha male way was completely against admitting it.

"Joe you know as well as I do that this is our only in. If we wait much longer our opening could close and then where would we be?" Tee sipped her coffee and watched him over the rim as he tighten his hold on his pen.

"No it's not and even if we did miss this opportunity we would find another way in." He said as he continued writing, Tee couldn't figure out what it was that he could possibly be writing for an hour. She wondered if he realized that in the hour she'd been talking he'd only changed sides but never papers.

"Really? So where have you been hiding the other Vietnamese agent?" She asked setting her mug down and she looked to him raising an eyebrow. "Because unless you have one somewhere that I have yet to meet who can speak fluent Vietnamese I am our only option."

Sighing Joe threw down his pen and looked at her as he rubbed his forehead with one hand. "Do you know the extraction rate for gang jobs like this one?" When she didn't answer and only raised her eyebrows higher he continued. "Only about 60% of these kinds of gang infiltrations can be fully and successfully extracted. The other 40% are either killed during initiation, killed when they try to leave, are made and killed, are never able to be safely extracted, or are in the gang too long and they turn."

"Well thank you Mr. CIA Handbook. Yes, I read that chapter too. But these guys have links to terrorist groups and possibly the Fratelli. We cannot let this slip by because the job has a 40% failure rate. We've worked missions where that was the success rate." Joe sighed again and rubbed his temples like he was getting a headache. "Joe you know I'm right."

Joe sighed yet again and this time glared at her too. Tee smiled, both had always been a sign that he had given into her. "Fine you go in. But you report to me directly. I'll be your handler. Regular check-ins, full disclosure to goings on, the works Tee; I want you to give me everything. And you get pulled before the bust."

Tee nodded. "Deal." Not that she didn't trust the other agents they had; but she felt a hell of a lot more comfortable knowing that it was Joe who was heading the operation.

Joe stood and walked until he was standing in front of her desk. "We meet every week for breakfast. I'll set up your apartment; it'll be easy access for me and our team but only us. I'm going to be stationed five blocks away."

Tee looked up at Joe. She thought she saw something flash in his eyes. But if she did he covered it just as quickly as it had appeared. Nodding Tee reached for her phone. "I'm going to make the phone calls to my sister and my parents. We'll talk shop after that."

As Tee dialed she couldn't help the feeling that something was going to go wrong with this mission.
