"Do it again." The doctor ordered and the nurse nodded hesitantly and turned the nob again. There was another flash of green light as the machine electrocuted the patient again.
The small boy screamed louder until the light faded. The doctor stepped forward.
"Harry?" He asked. "Are you aware of where you are?" The small boy stared at the doctor and muttered something incomprehensible. "Dam it." The doctor muttered to him self. the electro shock therapy wasn't helping the patient. He was convinced he was an orphan at some magical school. The fact was though he was jest an eleven year old schizophrenic who's parents were worried sick about him. "The treatment isn't working." The doctor declared to the nurse. "Bring him back to his room and for god's sake get that twig out of his room. We don't knead to endorsee this fantasy of his." The nurse nodded as she put the small boy in a weal chair to take him back to his room.
"Yay!" The boy exclaimed. "I get to ride the Hogwarts Express again! Im going back to school!" The doctor shook his head. The poor boy was convinced the weal chair was a train and he would run around with a broomstick between his legs whenever the janitor forgot to lock it up.
The boy's parents were in the waiting room with deeply imbedded worry on their faces.
"Doctor!" The boy's mother cried. "Did it work?" The doctor shook his head.
"I'm afraid not." He said. "He is still under the impression that he is a magical orphan." The doctor paused. "Im sorry." He said. "I know you don't want to medicate him but it is the only treatment option left." The mother nodded sadly.
"Just do it." The boy's father said. "just do it."
The cupel sat there crying when the doctor left to find harry. He found him talking with them pigeon on his again.
"Hay hedwig!" he said excitedly. "Any mail from Serious?" The pigeon just pooped and flew away. The nurse looked up at the doctor as he entered. She raised an inquisitive eyebrow and the doctor nodded.
"Get the meds." He ordered.
Point of view change to Harry.
Harry woke up in a daze. He couldn't remember how he got in this crisp white room. He remembered talking with his owl Hedwig and then, nothing. He woke up in this room. There was a muggle doctor and nurse leaning over him.
"Where am I?" He asked.
"In a hospital." The doctor answered. "We gave you some meds for your schizophrenia and..." The doctor was cut off.
"What?" Harry asked. "What are you talking about?" The doctor explained how Hogwarts was jest an hallucination. A figment of Harry's imagination, brought on by his schizophrenia. Harry shook his head.
"No." He said. "No, your wrong!" Harry flung his arm out and startled the doctor. In that brief moment Harry ran out of the room. Once in the hallway he noticed all the patients every where. He had to get out of here. Had to get back to Hogwarts. But what if the doctor was right? The idea of a magic school sentiently seamed insane. No, no Hogwarts was real. It had to be. Right? He saw a broom stick leaning against the wall. He new it was crazy but he was depurate to know. He herd the doctor chasing after him as he snatched up the broom and ran for the balcony at the end of the hall. When he got there he didn't think. He was afraid to think about what he was about to do. He jumped off the balcony and put the broom under him.
"No!" He herd the doctor yell as he started to fall. Harry's thoughts echoed the doctors words as he fell thirty stories. His last thoughts were of what his life might have been like if he hadn't jumped.
