HTYT: Merely a drabble. Since I STILL have no job, I've lost some of my inspiration to write. Not to mention I wish that the events of this drabble were coming from my male best friend, who I've developed a bad crush on...Unfortunately I'm in the proverbial 'Friend Zone', and have no chance with him. Life's a bitch.

It wasn't his intention to have been so blunt about it, but now he'd come out with the revelation Yami felt as if it was a great mistake. Maybe he should have kept his mouth shut.
Yugi's eyes were on him and he could see that, in the shorter teen's mind, there were a million and one questions that he wanted to ask. It didn't help that the two had both shared a body, but now that they were in separate forms, they shared living space.
Yami's sudden bodily separation from Yugi had been strange, and certainly a shock when a barrage of fangirls attacked him in the street begging to go on a date with him, or at least get his autograph. He'd turned down every single one of them, breaking their hearts unintentionally, because his eyes were only for one person. That's what he'd said to his Aibou when he'd asked why he'd not accepted the date propositions. And it was true.
But Yugi probably wasn't expecting that the person was himself.
And Yami himself wasn't expecting the smile that had spread over his Aibou's lips, and the kiss on the cheek that set his cheeks on fire as the blood rushed to them. And then he got a reply which made his heart flutter in a way that he could only describe with incomprehensible amounts of cliches:
"I'd love to."

HTYT: I hope you enjoyed my effort to write a drabble that's only half crap.
Yugi: You're cynical today.
HTYT: Bite me, midget face.
Yugi: ...Uncool.
HTYT: What will you do about it?
Yugi: Nothing...that was a little...harsh.
HTYT: I'm sorry...I'm just in a bad mood...GRR.
