This story isn't going to be exactly like the original one I changed some things, I just took the story-line. It's in 1695 because I can't imagine it in the 21 century .

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Chapter one

There was a law in the town of Mystic Falls which gave its citizens the power to force their daughters to marry whoever they a daughter refused to marry the man her father had chosen to be her husband, the father could, by this law, cause her to be as fathers do not often desire the death of their own daughters, even if they are a little disobedient, this law was rarely or never used.

But there was one case of a man, whose name was Johnathan Gilbert, who actually did come to Richard Lockwood the Duck of Mystic Falls at that time, to make a complaint about his daughter Elena Gilbert. He had commanded Elena to marry Stefan Fell, but she refused to obey him, because she loved another young man, named Damon Salvatore. Johnathan demanded justice from Richard, and asked for this cruel law to be used against his daughter.

Elena was sitting in her room reading a book when her father came in. She closed the book and stood up to greet her father.

''We need to talk. " He ordered

''Yes father?'' She already knew what the talk was about .

''I went to the duke today and asked for the law to be used against you, you left no choice. So you either marry Stefan like I ordered you to or you will be killed in four days.''He demanded.

''But father Stefan loves Caroline and she loves him deeply I can not do that to my friend .'' She defended this good reason which Elena gave for not obeying her father command did not move the severe Johnathan at all.

''It is so late now you can not do anything to change it, so you better think fast and I hope you choose right .'' He said softly then left the room. When he did, Elena broke in tears. I have to go to see Damon, she thought .

I hope you enjoyed it, I know it's short but it's going to be 10 chapters or something and the chapter are going to be short hope you don't mind because if i made long chapters it'll be like two chapters, I read the summarized one it's the one i took in my English class I have the long one but in another language .
