Summary: Mac looking out at a sunrise....

A/N: These few stories I'm posting right now, I wrote during math class and study hall. They might not be the best, but I think that they are of good enough quality to post! lol. Hope you enjoy them.

Mac looked out over the city skyline from her front porch swing. She watched as the sun rose over Alexandria, Virginia. The sky was streaked with color, in hues of reds, pinks, oranges, yellows, and even bles and purples. It looked like a mosaic of color, many paints streking a canvas. Mac took a sip of her coffee and thought about past events. As she imagined the days of yesteryear, she contemplated her future. She thought of memories from long ago, and wondered how she made it through. She wondered about the future, about life, love and happiness, and she knew that she was finally happy with where she was right now.

As she contemplated life, she was shaken from her reverie by a strong arm around her shoulders and the soft cry of a young child. She leaned into the embrace, and held her finger out to the child, who immediately wrapped her tiny hand around it. Mac curled into her husband's warmth, and reveled in the touch of her newborn daughter, she sighed in contentment. While the trio looked out over the city skyline, from their front porch swing in Alexandria, Virginia, Mac dreamed a little more.

She knew that she had finally found peace in her life, thanks to the love of her husband, Harmon Rabb Jr, and the soft cry of her newborn daughter, Mackenzie Faith Rabb.

The End

A/N: I know it is short, but it's only supposed to be a little thought - provoking story. Nothing much, it was only a page and a quarter long in my notebook. I hope you all liked it.
