author's note: because really, how are the shadow priests any different from the warlocks?

summary: you are fixing things but nobody will meet your eyes/on being the boogeyman

-this is the demon taint, the craft of the Legion-trained but you cannot let go of the shadows; the shadows keep you safe, they wrap around you and protect you from the monsters and their ragged teeth. O how the great anchorites would weep to see you now, huddled in your hood and clutching the small vials of spirit that you cannot stop drinking in your pockets; the mighty of fallen with their pride before them and you are not holy anymore, the taint seeping through your blood and your skin and the very breath you exhale into the unforgivingly bitter air.

(but it does not matter, while none may eagerly sit with you and pass the time, there is no doubt that your skills produce results and in war that is more important; you are fixing things, making things better)

(deep down inside, you hear the screams of draenor when you step into your prey's line of sight and you smile anyway)
