Pinkamina was staring blankly into space as sadness consumed her in the everday routine that was life. She sighed as she looked into the sky and saw a rainbow spread across the sky and then heard a cheerful voice say "Why so glum?"

"Because life is boring and sad. Where are you?" Pinkamina replied

The voice chuckled and said "Up here"

She looked up to see the sun had grown slightly less bright and gained a mouth. She gasped and asked "Who are you?"

The sun shrugged and said "Beats me, but hey, shouldn't you be happy. Life is always better when you're happy"

Pinkamina simply asked "How do I be happy?"

The sun chuckled again and said "Well, I got a song for that"

"Some things in life are bad, they can really make sad.

others just make you swear and curse,

so when chewing on life's gristle,

don't grumble,give a whistle,

and this will make things turn out for the best, and. . .

Always look on the bright side of life"

He whistled as Pinkamina began to grin.

"Always look on the light side of life,

if life seems jolly rotten, then there's something you forgotten,

and that's to laugh and dance and smile and sing"

He then said "You see where I'm going with this?"

Pinkamina giggled and said "I think so"

"Good, then maybe your friends can join in cause. . ."

Pinkamina listened and started to say "But I don't have any. . ."

But she was interupted as the rocks joined the sun and sang in a chorus

"Always look on the bright side of life"

The sun then said "C'mon" as the rock chorus whistled after every verse. He was rejoined by the rock chorus.

"Always look on the bright side of life"

He looked to Pinkamina ro see her hair had become poofy and she said "You're right" She then ran off towards home as the chorus of rocks continued to sing.

The sun chuckled and said "Spread happiness to all Pinkie!"

She looked back and said "I will!" as she then galloped towards the horizon.

And the rest is history
