'Senpai! Senpai!'
Tobi had once again lost Deidara. He was always walking off, leaving Tobi behind. It was like Deidara took advantage of every opportunity he got to get away from Tobi. Normally, whenever Tobi found Deidara, he was in deep thought and obviously didn't want to be disturbed. This time, it was different.
'Senpai!' called Tobi. 'Senpai, where are you?'
Deidara didn't answer, he never did. Tobi continued to search the forest, looking for any sign of his senpai.
'Sen—'
Tobi froze before he could finish. He had found a small clearing, and his senpai lying on the ground. His hair was loose and his clothes were torn slightly. Blood was spilling onto the ground from various wounds on his body. Bruises covered his body and his eyes were closed. Frankly, he looked dead.
Under his mask, Tobi's expression turned to one of horror. He rushed over to Deidara, hoping he wasn't too late. Tobi kneeled down next to Deidara's still form. Thankfully, the bomber was still breathing. What had happened to him?
Tobi gently lifted Deidara's head slightly and started to slowly stroke the blonde bomber's hair. Deidara stirred a little as Tobi placed a hand over a cut on his senpai's right cheek. Tobi had never seen Deidara like this. So weak and fragile.
'Senpai...' Tobi whispered to Deidara.
For a moment there was silence. Sadness overwhelmed Tobi as he stared at the pale body of his senpai. Who could have done this? Who could have reduced someone as strong as Deidara to a bloody mess?
'To...Tobi...'
Deidara struggled to speak. He gradually opened his eyes. Tobi could see the pain in his eyes, it was heart-breaking. Tobi held Deidara's head closer to his chest, he wished he could stop the pain.
'Tobi...' Deidara began to speak again, '...you have...to get away...'
Tobi shook his head and stared into the bomber's blue eyes.
'I won't leave you, senpai.'
Deidara was the only person Tobi had ever loved this way. No matter what, he would never abandon his beloved senpai.
'I'll never leave you, senpai.'
